Repris Bladder Injection System
INTRAVESICAL INJECTIONS
Overactive Bladder Syndrome (OAB)
Injections of onabotulinumtoxinA into the bladder wall of patients with OAB is an effective third line treatment for the disorder. Treatment is repeated every 6 to 9 months. However, urinary retention, a post procedure complication which occurs in up to 7% of patients, has slowed adoption. Up to 75% of patients treated do not return for follow up treatments.
Repris Bladder Injection System for treatment of OAB in women
Cystoscope needles for bladder injection are not procedure specific. The Repris Bladder Injection System is specifically designed to enable adherence to a specific protocol shown to reduce post procedure urinary retention the most common complication following cystoscopically guided injections of onabotulinumtoxinA into the bladder wall to treat OAB (link to clinical article post).
Studies to date indicate a significant reduction in post procedure urinary retention, enhanced patient comfort and increased compliance with repeat treatments.

Key components of the Repris Bladder Injection System are the Re4MTM memory cannula and RelyTM Self-Metering Syringe
- Re4m memory cannula consists of a shape memory polymer
- Distal tip is pre-formed as a compound curve with a needle at the tip
- Memory cannula/needle is retracted into the instrument lumen and lies straight during urethral entry
- Memory cannula/needle is deployed upon entering the bladder at which point it reverts to pre-formed shape
- Rotating the distal tip extends reach to lateral areas without pivoting the endoscope in the urethra. Pivoting the endoscope frequently causes discomfort.

Rely Self Metering Syringe
- Treatment requires delivery of 0.5cc of OnabotulinumtoxinA solution at each injection site
- Current standard requires the physician to look away from the monitor and at the syringe to ensure accurate dose. An assistant is required as the physician loses the target site upon looking away
- Rely provides auditory cue (click) and tactile feedback (resistance to advancing syringe plunger) when 0.5cc is delivered
- Allows physician to keep eye on target and deliver precise dose without assistance
